FIRST

For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) is the nonprofit organization that runs the FRC and FTC programs our teams are a part of. As stated on their website, "FIRST is the world’s leading youth robotics community, delivering hands-on STEM learning that inspires innovation, builds confidence, and prepares kids for life."

FIRST Indiana Robotics is another key organization we work with, as they run Indiana specific programs and competitions.

FIRST is a millions-strong robotics community that prepares young people for the future. Here are some of our stories.

  • FIRST & LEGO Education Partnership Update

For nearly three decades, FIRST® and LEGO® Education have partnered to deliver FIRST® LEGO® League and introduce millions of young people to STEM through hands-on learning, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. These programs have helped students build core skills and confidence that are transferable to other FIRST programs, learning both in and outside the classroom, and careers across a wide range of industries.
